Piper is generating a shockwave in film-biz circles, which is quite a feat, for an actress that graduated from an Ohio University theatre program just two years ago. Piper recently said, "I've only done one film that's been released, so I literally have nothing to go on to know what this summer will be like. At the moment, I'm happy to be working in Canada. Two years ago I was in college studying film, now Im working and performing in them." Piper, being a stunning blond thespian, has made it on to film industry paper Variety's list of 10 actresses to watch. She has been featured prominently in top U.S. magazines in recent months. All this has almost happened too quickly for Piper but she's certainly not complaining. "All I ever wanted to do was get up and go to work as an actor. The great thing is that it will hopefully provide me with opportunity to work on more films and to meet with interesting writers and directors. It's easy to imagine that some of her handlers might have done a double-take when she told them she wanted to make a small film in Quebec.
