Rachel is seasoned actress, and by no means a newcomer to
showbiz, she has been doing feature films for almost six years. Her most notable
present role, is the shy girl in "She's All That". Rachel is a unmistakable
doe-eyed beauty with a sexy "come hither" innocent look that only
adds to her alluring attraction.
Rachel's acting abilities have helped her stand out from her more perky teenage peers, and has helped her land more mature roles in upcoming movies. She bounced onto the set of the big-screen, in the sleeper hit "She's All That", as the nerd turned high school sweetheart. Having risen to stardom with this film, Rachel's movie roles have been increasing at an exponential rate. She also had a guest starring recurring role in the high school series 'Dawson's Creek', an appearance on 'The Outer Limits', and roles in made-for-TV movies such as "True Women", "The Eighteenth Angel" and "Country Justice".
Rachel was born October 4, 1979, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated from high school in Spring 1998. As a very shy youngster, Rachel appeared in her first acting role when she was seven in a public service announcement encouraging adults to become foster parents. Rachel began doing modeling advertisements at the age of ten, and probably she's best known for doing spots for Target and Milkbone.
Since then, Rachel has gone on to make 11 movies in just 3 years, including "Carpool", "Living Out Loud" and "Strike". Other films that she has done recently include "Hi-Line", an independent film, "The Bumblebee Flies Anyway", a teen drama set in a hospital that also stars Elijah Wood, and "The Naked Man", a comedy about sumo wrestling written by Ethan Coen. Rachel has been nominated for the MTV Award for Best Breakthrough Female Performance for her role in "She's All That", and currently is one of Hollywood's most promising young actresses.
Rachel is passionate about art, especially drawing, she would like to eventually try screen writing and has co-produced an independent film entitled "Tangled". Rachel enjoys reading, writing, tennis, roller blading, and shopping for clothes. She lives mostly in her L.A. apartment, and she has a boxer dog and two cats. Rachel is a vegetarian and has a tattoo on her left arm.
